This code provides an example of how to integrate the Shroud Runtime with an OpenGL-based project. It uses a Visual Studio 2010 project, and assumes that the root of the Shroud SDK is set as the environment variable SHROUD_DIR

Controls:

  • Rotate Camera: right mouse + drag
  • Move Camera: middle mouse + drag
  • Zoom Camera: left & right mouse + drag forward/backward
  • Quit: Escape or Q

This sample code demonstrates how to:

  • Load a Shroud file
  • Create Shroud Instances from Shroud Objects
  • Use Shroud with an asynchronous job manager
  • Use Shroud with a custom memory manager
  • Use Shroud with a custom logging system
  • Make Shroud Transforms and Colliders follow the movement of Skeletal Bones
  • Blend between skinned and simulated poses based on camera distance
  • Turn off the simulation based on camera distance
