self-collision

Hi.
I have now done some testing on the basic package and plowed through the API help on collisions but cannot find any info on how to apply cloth self-collisions.
Has this been implemented? If not, are you planning to do so? If not, is it possible to provide a custom collision system?
(this feature is a showstopper, otherwise I think you have an excellent solution, in particular I need thick cloth with self-collisions which is what the customer needs).

Self-collision is not officially supported; it tends to add a significant amount of processing cost to the simulation, and for games can often be avoided through careful setup of the properties and constraints.
